ION Development

New Construction

 

The home at 15 Georgetown Rd. was a new construction project in the ION development in Mt. Pleasant South Carolina. All houses in the ION development represented the Neo traditional style found in historic Charleston.

 

The three story classically designed home had a gorgeous three story porch. The home’s main living space is on the second floor with a strong connection between the active kitchen, the living space and the backyard. For example, the breakfast nook extended into the porch to help connect the outdoors to the indoors.   

 

The lower level contained the garage, entertainment spaces for adults and kids and a complete mother in law suite. These spaces went out to the sizeable backyard and the owners used this downstairs space primarily for entertaining.

 

The top floor was all private space, containing all the bedrooms and the master suite was the one with access to the third story porch.
